Sharmistha Paul, Singer Ganer Opare. Singing in playback for Mimi Chakrabarty or Pupe. Finally we have find some information about her from an article published in Pritidin. She has studied in Calcutta University and working in a shipping company alongside her melodious singing in Ganer Opare. 



Sharmistha Paul


One of her album released during Durga Puja on Rabindra Sangeet this year. She have sung in a serial called Debdas. We thanks her for attracting all of us towards the Rabindra Sangeet more then ever and thanks to Mr. Debojyoti Mishra for finding such a talent.

    hi Sharmisthadi, ami somiya.u just need one trivia to recognize me, though i have already got the recognition from u.u knw, me n my friendz were wondering for quite a sometime about the girl singing for Pupe.n suddenly we found u on 30th jan on our ganer cls er picnic like "chutki me".n especially i felt so good after being noticed by u with such warmth in front of many ppl.i was feeling like a celebrity that time.i really feel proud to share the same school with u for so long.ami sei Sakhawat Memorial er meye.my best wishes are always with u.ur doing a great job n keep up the good work.

    Ami Poushali, Gaaner Opare serial-e tomar gaan sonar por amra anek khoj korechhi singer sammondhe, takhon tomar naam jantam na..... janar por thekei bhabchhilam, kono bhabe jodi mader feelings ta share kara jay.....

    I simply love ur tonal quality and voice texture..Apni je ekjon trained singer seta khali golay apnar gan shunei bujhechi....Khub khushi holam dekhe je ekhono rabindra sangeet ke ei"subi rapa..para papa"-r juge bachiye rakhar lok ache...apnar opor ekhon onek boro daitto amader cultural heritage ke bachiye rakhar...apnar album er opekkhay thaklam...tagore charayo modern song,light classical apnar golay shunte agrohi...."AAMAREY NA JYANO KORI PROCHAAR,AAMARO APPONO KAAJEY,TOMARI ICHHA KORO HE PURNO AMARI JIBON MAJHE,JACHI HE TOMAR CHOROM SHANTI,PORANE TOMAR POROMO KANTI"....onek subheccha roilo!~~~~~~~~~~~

    I am watching the series now. It is quite good, but the background score is so loud that it is difficult to listen to the dialogue .

    This part of direction is terrible. Suggest edit the episodes with muted background music.
