    Unlike my mom I am not at all a maniac of TV serials, but I have an honest confession to make. This is probably the first Bengali serial after 'Tero Parban' which has really touched my heart. Everything in this serial starting from casting, screenplay, plot, design, Fashion, direction, acting...etc etc are all PERFECT. I must not dare to say it being a Bengali but it is the truth that Tagore is not the property of some sophisticated over-cultured Bramho followers. Tagore is for everyone...the young generation is again finding interest in Tagore's Literature and Music. Therefore so far the storyline is something which is seeming pretty interesting.
    As per you are concerned I would rate 4/5. Great Job done Bhai. You are excellent...your father has always made us proud and blood speaks (sorry if I am sounding too mean)...the torch is in your hand. Go ahead....it's just the beginning...you will go a long way. All the Best Arjun.

    gaaner oparey is probably the only television programme to which i have got addicted to in almost a decade, i am a great fan of rabindrasangeet and tagore's literature, but me being a member of the youth can feel the ignorance that plagues most of the young minds of our society, ur show is addressing this issue....so hat's off! i tuned into the show out of curiosity, but soon it was surpassed by undying interest...nothing this artistic and intellectual has ever been attempted on indian television before, but judging from the response this new scenario has been welcomed with open arms....ur entry was late into the show, but u came and conquered, ur immitable charm, effortless acting and awesome screen presence has added fuel to my already burning interest.....u r doing a great job, so bravo! keep it up, but don't let all this fame and recognition go to ur head, which i'm sure u won't...i don't know u personally but i'm sure that u must be a wonderful human being, judging from the sincerity reflected in ur performance, and really that's all that matters....(sorry for the lecture)

    Your acting reminds me of Partho of 'Atithi' (Tapan Sinha) and 'Balika Bodhu'(Tarun Majumdar) fame. But he belied expectations.Please do not turn out to be another 'Partho'.
