Actors & Actresses: Full marks - 100 out of 100 - for giving an absolutely brilliant account of themselves.....a big thank you to you all.
Backroom boys and girls like Prosenjit , Arpita , Joy and Anuja: utter let down and failure for failing to keep the initial standard and converting GANER OPARE into an ordinary love storey.........their poverty of thoughts got exposed to the public in full............the failed miserably - a big 0 out of 100.
Gain: Some lovely songs and moving portrayals of emotion and joy , some new finds like Pupe, Gourav and Prodipto, singers like Samantak, Sharmistha and reminding Tagore to the new generation.
Loss: Converting ‘Sonar Tori’ into a house of the villains.......failing to bring the best of the rebellious character of Pupe and denouncing everything traditional as bad......That's not acceptable.
Sabyasachi must be happy that he has achieved his limited goal of making a dream acting debut of his offspring...........
But I feel sorry for the acting stalwarts like Dipankar Dey, Kaousik Sen etc. for having given themselves into the hands of the inept storey tellers without any murmur of protest. They ought to have prevailed over the Directors to do more justice to their characters.
Any way I appreciate those who conceived the serial and having succeeded in offering a much better stuff from the deplorable contents of the regular ones. For this, the Ganer Opare Tam deserves a special word of appreciation.
I hope to see the second version of this serial very soon.
Thanks to Ganer Opare team foroffering such a nice,clean and sober presentation and quality entertainment............ touching our mind and soul.........Yes there are talents and we need to trace and nurture them.........it's like a Tagore short storey written awnew........a refresshing experience that lingers and never fades........Tagore's songs gave it immortality........that it could have beeen better is altogether a diffrent issue..........waht we have got is too precious indeed.........preserve it.
