Great going..........the serial is reaching a climax............it is good that the fundamental question has been raised...........the eternal tussle between tradition and modernity............does modernity mean breaking away from everything past, including the time-tested values that nurture and sustain our civilisations and society?.............Perhaps not.........while Pupe has some points but she is not absolutely right.........the allegation that Sonar Tori is trading the images of Tagore to earn money is incorrect.........In fact , not everything is bad with the tradition bound Sonar Tori............the serial has come to an interesting turning point...........the questions being raised by Pupe however deserve some internal soul searching as well..........In fact, neither Pupe or Thakurda is either absolutely right or wrong.............the real answer lies somewhere in between..........One has to be creative and innovative by not sacrificing the tradition but by embracing the eternal qualities – the sustaining power - hidden into it.
