Some improvements noticed from the past few episodes...........the mixing of views was imaginative and marvellous..........but the song failed to evoke any extraordinary feeling......could have been rendered better....any way thanks.......please keep the standard high and attractive.

ReplyDeletesorry to interrupt your thought Gullai, but the thing is that one who loves Rabindranath,has been brought up with Rabindranath and consider this legendary hero as her friend, philosopher & guide will always seek a person who feel the same.A line had been used by pupe in the previous episode of this serial,"surer badhon kake bole aaj bujhlam". So it is hard to form a bridge between a heart of a classical singer & a rabindra sangeet singer.Moner bhitor je ekta mon lukiye achhe seta Prodipto won't be able to understand.
ReplyDeletePersonally Rabindra Sangeet is my most favorite. But Rabindranath is not the end of the world or the last thing about music. There is nothing to believe that classical singers cannot appreciate the depth of Rabindranath. I heard classical singers singing his songs in two occasions...Felt transcendental.
ReplyDeleteThere is hardly any maturity, intelligence and sensitiveness in the character of Gora (at least till now) that makes us believe that he can capture the essence of Rabindranath. Only simplicity doesn't count.
Gora reminds me of Sandip and Pradipto reminds me of Nikhil in Ghare baire.
