ReplyDeleteAs in the serial - Tagore in the 21st century amidst a monopolistic institution flanged by triangular love and over-under-protective guardians is really loosing its grip.
‘Bar Badal’ is an old fashioned comedy that used to dominate in our theatres and cinemas some 50 years back or before…………….such a gimmick has lost its novelty long time ago because of overuse and copying by all and sundry………………..It is indeed pathetic to see that Ganer Opare Team has resorted to this technique to come out of the love triangle………………and more astonishing is the fact that the plot has been made public by the GO team……………..this has robbed us of whatever little attention left in us to watch the serial…………..it is following the conventional trail without any deviation…………the two main characters Prodipto and Pupe are Pretending to get married…………and they are doing it without any remorse ……smilingly………..and Pretention is worst form of lie…………unpardonable………..and the most unfortunate part is that a highly respected and cultured person like Bisri…………….rewarded for his literary skill……….is a party to this unholy game plan………………..as he is giving all out support to his daughter in this drama of lie, deception and pretention…………………..does not gel at all in a story line involving Tagore
